Greetings from… ASIA (could be China, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, etc.)
I have often heard the term “Road Warrior” used for frequent business travellers, but it usually applies in the sense of how it directly relates to the individuals “job” on the road and not much more. Companies and and even businesses market to these “Road Warriors” by offering smaller and lighter “stuff” or cheaper more attractive rates for travel related expenses. But I’m not talking about “that” kind of “Road Warrior”.
Here’s a new definition. For me this applies to the Martial Art of Jung SuWon and how I apply it while on the road, but the same concepts can be applied to anything in your life that you love and want to make a part of you every day (which can range from activities to relationships, to a total way of life… the only boundries are those we put up ourselves). My teacher (Great Grandmaster Dr. Tae Yun Kim) incorporates these philosophies into the art of Jung SuWon and her overall philosophy about life. I have been fortunate enough to have been a student of Dr. Kim’s for many years, so I’ve had a few years to practice what I’ve been taught for a few years as well.
So… what is my new definition of a “Road Warrior”???
Stay tuned…
